Director / Head Engineer
After leaving Plymouth university, where I studied for a degree in radio communication. I joined the IT service industry, building my knowledge and skills as I went.
I spent the first 3 years working for an Internet service provider, learning the Internet, supporting business clients and managing their services.
I then spent 5 years working for the 3rd largest IT support company in the world, providing outsourced support and infrastructure on multimillion pound contracts.
From there I chose to start Internet Generation, with the mission of making those skills and expertise normally only affordable by large organizations, available to everyone.
My main skill areas:
Radio Systems (WiFi).The Internet (Web hosting, Email, Connectivity). Windows deployment, NT / 2000 / 2003 Servers & Domains, developing and supporting customer relationships.
About Us:
Internet Generation is an IT support and services company, based in Manchester. We provide full support services to the local community, and limited support to other UK residents.
We are dedicated to bringing our customer the support and services they need, and not what we want to sell them, unlike other providers.
We listen to our customers and keep our minds open to new ideas, we are keen to develop those ideas, and bring improvements to our customers. We are an innovative and creative company, we develop ways to reduce the cost to our customers, and wish to lead in the market through careful strategy, and getting it right first time, every time.
We are currently trialing new technology, that will help us communicate and support our customer through the Internet, and when possible to extend our support to all UK residents.
